Question by hopingfor2010: Associates Degree in Criminal Justice good for a job in Security or Retail Loss Prevention?
I am currently studying criminal justice and will soon get my Associates Degree. Is an Associates degree in Criminal Justice sufficient to work in Security or Retail Loss Prevention? I know for security a degree is not required but would it help me to get a job by having the degree over someone who does not have one?
Its not about money for me. I plan on being a stay at home mom for part of my future anyways.

If you ever want to earn a decent salary you’ll need at least a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Without one you will be stuck as a low-level grunt worker with dismal pay.
