  1. He was overscored. The costume was… and the choreography…. What the hell is wrong with his coach? I mean, I love Joubert, I really do, but lately sth is just not right. I wish i could see his 2003/2004 season form once again.
And that program? C’mon he looks like a balck swan, flouncing, tossing, tangling on the ice.

I cross my fingers this season! I hope he will be able to focus and reach at least one gold medal <3

  3. @Iadorebrian I don’t think any skater is perfect… I think it may take some time for many fans to get used to Brain skating this style program? This is not professional quality video to see all the details. I wonder if he will add a quad to this program? His jumps are one of his best strengths!!

  4. I admire Brian very much because he was not afraid to try something new, but this program is quite poor. Probably he received some positive reviews only because he worked with David Wilson, a very overrated choreographer, IMO. I´m very disappointed! :((

  5. @Iadorebrian Well, David Wilson made the choreography and from other athletes he seems to make nice programs but I think Brian didn’t perform the program 100% as it is because he was tired with sprained ankle and it was the first time he did that program. I ‘m sure it will improve a lot in the next competitions.

  6. Thanks for this video. I don’t recognize him it’s definitely not his style. I like him strong and courageous. I think there is wrong choreography and very poor. Do you know who is his choreographs-terrible job. He is a perfect skater, choreographs have to work better they don’t use his strengths at all. Do you agree with me?

  7. @Eeyore2411 I agree his body movements need work. But it’s a brand new program and new skating style for him. I don’t think the ankle sprain helped either. I’m sure it will get much better with practice. I think it takes a lot of guts to do something totally different. Good for him!! I do like this program. Looking forward to seeing what the judges think. Bonne Chance, Brian!

  8. Oh my. That is not good at all. Lots of two foot skating, very little to the music. Needs to use more core body movement and actually get in to the feel of the music. There should be some sense of timing to the music with the movements. The ankle sprain might explain the no level on the CSSp.

  9. First i was really surprised by the music choice , but in a way, if he want stay on top, that’s just the way it is. I’m sure that programm get better and better, and the choreography need to be improved but he seemed already confortable with, so it’s a good point. Allé Brian, you are a real champion, but please change your fucking damn ridiculous costume. So eighties. lol

  10. Thank you for the vid…
I hope that somebody share the SP.

I like the FP, it´s a new style for Brian but works for him…

  11. I was a little surprised by the music choice but it really works for him!Specially the middle part choreography was excellent. This is a program to look forward to
    Bravo Brian !

  12. Thanks for posting this. 😀

I like the music. I’m not sure about the choreography tho. The spins don’t go with the music, imo. lol Like it’s my business.

  13. When others saw only failure the Lord saw my greatness and worth. He was my friend when no one else cared. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer.

  14. @ Kenji049 Not sure about the classical piece in the very beginning, but the light melody played while the boy is first learning violin as well as the clip after the violin is sold are both from Antonin Dvorak’s Humoresque. The piece the old man plays on the violin is Schubert’s Serenade.

  15. @nancysnook cont. until Jesus touches their life. Then under the hand of the master the real value of people can be seen and under his loving care they are taken from being battered and scarred to being fully healed and restored. A really good poem that has been put to music and this dramatization.

  16. @nancysnook I saw that movie and it is a really great movie, some amazing violin playing. It made me want to learn and now I am taking lessons. But this clip is not actually from that movie. This is based on a poem by Myra Brooks Welch that desribes a violin that battered and scarred by life and is determined to be of little value at a auction until a master plays it and people see the value in it. Then the poem describes how people are like that to, determined to be worthless and valueless

  17. I love this…it’s from the movie The Red Violin and it’s about a Violin maker who used his wifes blood to stain the Violin that later goes on auction and sells for several million dollars. Beautiful movie…
